After finishing the Starcrossed Exotic mission during the Season of the Wish, players can obtain the brand-new Strand Exotic combat bow in Destiny 2, called Wish-Keeper.
Players have plenty of time to finish all seasonal content, including grinding for the new weapon and its catalyst, because the current season lasts seven months.
The most recent week of Destiny 2’s Season of the Wish introduces Wish-Keeper, a brand-new exotic bow, as a new weapon for players to pursue.
This one is similar to past seasonal Exotics, like Vexcalibur and Retrofit Zero, in that you’ll earn the opportunity to craft different versions over time as you replay its Exotic mission, Starcrossed.
Destiny 2 often releases seasonal weapons. A new and exciting set of ritual weapons is included with Season of the Wish. Ten new seasonal weapons are included.
Four are old weapons from Season of the Undying that have made a comeback with a special origin trait and a redesigned perk pool.
Having said that, Bungie has started releasing unusual weapons with several catalysts lately.
This held for Revision Zero and Excalibur, and the trend continues with the Destiny 2 Wish-Keeper as well. Having said that, this is how players in the game can get these catalysts unlocked.
There is no particular mission to complete to unlock the Destiny 2 Wish-Keeper catalysts, in contrast to the other Exotics in the game.
In the Starcrossed mission, on the other hand, there are numerous hidden chests. You will have to find these hidden chests.
These secret chests contain all four of the Wish-Keeper combat bow’s catalysts. This move will somewhat force you to explore the entire mission area as well, giving you a better idea of what the Black Garden truly is.
There is currently only one of these time-gated hidden chests available. To obtain all four Destiny 2 Wish-Keeper catalysts, you will need to return to the Starcrossed Exotic mission once a week until January 16.
Overall, the catalysts’ benefits should work very well with Strand’s builds in the game. For example, the Banner of War Titan can greatly benefit from this weapon because it will allow them to suspend more targets easily.
Moreover, the weapon in itself is very formidable. It was expected to see a Kinetic Strand Exotic at this point, given the developers’ heavy focus on Strand.
The weapon has just gone live, so it will be interesting to watch how it performs in PvE and PvP settings in the days to come.
Not just that, most exotics quickly make a name for themselves in the meta at launch. It will be interesting to see if players can use the Wish-Keeper from Destiny 2 in these activities, as the Grandmaster Nightfalls for the Season of the Wish go live concurrently with the Starcrossed Exotic mission.
Possibly the only mission in Destiny 2 that sends players through the Black Garden is the Starcrossed Exotic mission.
It is pretty simple, but the interactions are a little difficult. Taking down some of the bosses in this mission can be challenging if you do not have the right build.
Additionally, this mission contains brief jumping intervals that occasionally break perfect runs, just like the majority of Exotic missions in the game.
Furthermore, Destiny 2 Starcrossed has multiple hidden chests, which is a staple addition whenever Bungie introduces any new activity to the game. These chests offer extra loot in most cases, but in certain areas, they’re traps as well.
However, considering how rewarding they can be, players must go ahead and seek them out because they’re associated with triumphs that are tied to that particular activity.
Not only do these hidden chests reward you with the reprised season of the Undying weapons and their deep-sight resonant variants, but you will also be able to collect the catalysts for the Wish-Keeper Exotic bow by looting these Starcrossed hidden chests.
