A former Indianapolis teacher was arrested on charges alleging that she had sex with a student and bought another a gun.

Kathryn Hagan, 38, was arrested by detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department on accusations that she had an 'inappropriate sexual relationship' with a 17-year-old student in March, according to a police statement.

After inviting the teen over to her home, the former Franklin Central High School teacher reportedly gave him Xanax.

Hagan, who was employed as a licensed teacher at the time of the incident, also provided a firearm to a second juvenile student whom she knew intended to use it to commit a crime, police said.

On April 7, the Franklin Township Community School Corporation received an anonymous tip about the relationship between Hagan and the teen.

School administrators then notified the Indiana Department of Child Services and police.

Hagan was placed on suspension and resigned as an employee of the school district.

Court documents showed that Hagan invited the victim to her home on March 28, and gave him the Xanax.

Three days later, she invited the victim to her home again, and they had sex in her upstairs bedroom, according to court documents.

According to CBS 4, police spoke with other students at the school who said there was a 10-second video circulating around the campus that showed Hagan and the teen naked.

Students were trying to use the video to blackmail Hagan into giving them better grades, according to court documents.

Authorities said Hagan told the student, whom she bought the gun for, to use it to rob other students who may have evidence incriminating her on their phones.

The school district said in a statement that they are 'cooperating fully' with the investigation.

Hagan's first day at the school was January 3, 2017, and she resigned in April.

She was charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery, two counts of child seduction, dangerous control of a firearm, and dealing in a schedule IV controlled substance.
