Rapper Drake put $400,000 on Paul to win last night, which obviously didn't happen. Paul was asked on the bet after the fight.

He said: 'F*** this is Drake's fault! Drake bro, why did you do this to me? Nah, it's my fault. But $400,000 is nothing to him.

'He's won a lot more money betting on me before so he's proabbly about even now.

Looks like Paul is on his way back to American and he's been posting on his Instagram story, with three posts having captions beginning with: 'When you lost but...'

The first is a video of the boxer crying, they suddenly putting his thumbs up, which he repeats. The caption is: 'When you lost but made $30m.

The second is a skit where he is asking to be involved in brother Logan's ventures, with the caption: 'When you lost but your brother is Logan Paul.'

Finally, he's sat dancing with the caption: 'When you lost but co-starred on Disney with Olivia Rodrigo.'

Swings and roundabouts, I guess.

Saudi Prince, Prince Khaled, visited Tommy Fury after the fight to pass on his congratulations.

He spoke quietly originally so it's hard to make out what is being said, but Fury himself pulls away and tells those watching: 'This is a guy I want to thank, Prince Khaled. He's treated me and my team like kings all the way through, and Saudi Arabia is an amazing place..

'Because you are kings!' the prince responds. 'That is the truth, thank you for coming. You are great guys, I was touched by all of you as a family, and Jake's family, but you were great tonight.'

Derek Chisora has had his say on yesterday's events, and he's not a fan of Jake Paul.

Asked if Jake Paul can now consider himself a 'true professional', he said: 'No. The problem is Jake Paul is the boss. Everybody around him is yes men. He is paying them so he tells them what to do. Until he gets rid of that s*** he will never be a professional fighter.

'The way he was jabbing, and not sitting right, he's heavy handed. if he double jabbed and put the right hand through the middle, yes, but he was jabbing from the floor and looking for those big swings for no reason.'

Run it back

John Fury has called for his son Tommy to fight Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia again after the former Love Island star's split decision win on Sunday.

Fury won the fight by split decision- with the judges calling the fight 76-73, 76-73, 74-75 in his favour- but found it tougher than he had predicted as he was knocked down and faced a point deduction for holding.

Paul was also deducted a point for hitting Fury in the back of the head during the fifth round when the Brit already led 3-1, which some felt was a harsh decision from referee Hector Afu.

Tommy Fury was the better man and boxer last night. Jake Paul had aspirations to meet Canelo one day, but this will have been the reality check he sorely needed and Eddie Hearn long advised.

Fury has gotten a taste of money long ahead of his ability. He might not like heading back down to the Queensberry undercards and the paydays they bring. He might like the Jake Paul and KSI realm after all, but something about his surname suggests he'll try to earnestly make it in boxing.

Jake Paul said in his post-fight press conference: 'For sure I need to get this one back and KSI is yet to fight a real opponent so we don't know his actual skill level.

'Obviously that's a massive fight but I'm gonna go back for this rematch. I just talked to Tommy back in the medical room and he was like 'let's go, let's do it again'.

Tommy Fury has lived under the shadow of his half-brother Tyson since he stepped into a boxing ring for the first time.

Despite heading into last night with an unbeaten 8-0 record, there have been lots of questions raised about his ability in the ring and how he could deal in a big-match situation, with last night in Saudi Arabia his first big main event.

Aside from being knocked down in the eighth, which could be blamed on a slip, it was a faultless night for Tommy and surely a big relief not to suffer what could have been a humiliating defeat to the YouTuber-turned-boxer.

Round 7 goes to Fury.

22:56 ROUND 6: Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury

Paul came out firing in the sixth knowing he was trailing. Paul is making it a scrappy fight, but Fury seems to have done the cleaner work.

Paul seldom had the momentum of the fight. He purely wanted to land his favoured overhand right and Fury showed enough skill to negate that threat 0 though his bloody nose showed not all of Paul's efforts were in vein.

A massive turning point when Fury was deducted a point for holding. That even things back up, but Fury should still be two rounds ahead at least.

22:51 ROUND 5: Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury

Paul tried to unload at the start of the round, but Fury smartly countered with a combo of his own, just one example of the boxing IQ between them.

The referee took away one point from Paul for a shot to the back of Fury's head and that spurned the 6-0 fighter to try and lay major damage on his British foe.

Fury seemed on unsteady legs after an overhand shot, but he regained his composure quickly as the round came to a scrappy conclusion. Looks like both men, after five intense rounds, are feeling the pace.

A LOT of work for Paul to do to win from here with the deduction.

22:47 ROUND 4: Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury

After Logan Paul's tirade in between the rounds, Tommy came out of his corner full of aggression in the fourth and an early onslaught caught the eye of the crowd.

Paul, in fairness, landed a beautiful left hook midway through the round that iis arguably the shot of the fight. Tommy had the better of the round, but Paul's shot might temot the judges.

Fury has landed 44 punches to Paul's 27.

22:44 Logan Paul unleashes on the Fury family in between rounds!

Logan is interview ahed of the fourth round and he shouted into the live microphone that Tommy Fury 'is a b****' telling him 'you're gassing out bro'

Before directing a shot at all the Fury family - with Tyson present - calling them all 'b*****'

22:43 ROUND 3: Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury

Paul carries power and that seemed to have Fury's respect. The first two rounds were quite easily Fury's as he jabbed his way out of Paul's sweet spot.

Paul couldn't get his overhand right, but in the third round he did enjoy more success when he stopped trying to knock out Fury like he promised and he tried to box with him. Much like when Fury fought Paul teammate Anthony Taylor, this is a bit of a scrappy affair with too much locking up.

22:38 ROUND 2: Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury

Fury rocked Paul's head back with a jab at the start of round two and the YouTuber turned boxer has learned quickly he won't get success from range.

Fury's jab is far more educated than Paul's. The American keeps trying to dip low so he can spring with that overhand right, but Fury's jab is giving Paul all kinds of problems that his experience isn't used to dealing with.

22:34 ROUND 1: Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury

Fury landed the first blows and Paul tied him up. The Problem Child replied with a body jab and went on the offensive, but both men were tying up more than the paying spectators appreciated.

Paul attempted to land that overhand right that he likes, but Fury certainly settled the better of the pair. Fury landed a couple of nice jabs and a straight left at the end of the round from Fury was the only flush punch of note. Fury takes round one.

Ilunga Makabu was set out to knock Badou Jack down or out in the final round to ensure he kept his WBC Crusierweight title, but he never had that in his gas tank.

Jack caught Makubu with a nasty straight right and then unleashed all he had on a stunned champion. The referee made a smart stoppage when Makabu couldn't throw anything back and the Congolese fighter suffers his first loss since losing to Tony Bellew back in 2016.

Badou Jack stops Ilunga Makbua in the final round!

21:49 ROUND 11: Badou Jack vs Ilunga Makabu - WBC cruiserweight title

Sensational start to the round put Makabu down with a crisp right hook after two straights. Makabu looks out on his feet trying to stay in this fight and Jack's work to his body has come at the perfect time.

The momentum is all with Jack. He's found a second wind after dropping Makabu, but will he regret not going for the kill?

21:47 KNOCK DOWN!

Badou Jack puts Ilunga Makabu down again! A tremendous right hand on the end of a three-punch combo to kick off the round! A long time to survive for the champion...

21:45 ROUND 10: Badou Jack vs Ilunga Makabu - WBC cruiserweight title

Both men are planting their feet and going to work in front of one another. Jack was having much better success when he worked from range, timed his attacks as Makabu wanted to walk forward.

Jack remembered that good work for a spell in this round to put the champion on the back foot, but Makabu responded excellently with a flurry of his own.

This was Jack's round. He landed the crowd-pleasing shots that the champ didn't. Lovely work with his shots straight down the guard.

21:41 ROUND 9: Badou Jack vs Ilunga Makabu - WBC cruiserweight title

After eight round, Makabu has landed 162 punches to Jack's 137, but a lot of the champion's work has been plodding forward looking for an opening rather than landing something clean.

Makabu is just standing in front of Jack with a bit of head movement. That's pretty much it, but he's unloading a constant stream of shots that keep the challenger busy and there's no doubt that Jack is slowing down. This sort of fight suits the Congolese fighter down to the ground and he's wearing the Swede down.

21:37 ROUND 8: Badou Jack vs Ilunga Makabu - WBC cruiserweight title

Jack came out on top of an exchange with Makabu with a straight right hand timed perfectly as Makabu missed with one of his own.

Many thought Jack was having one last stab at the top as he went for a world title above his career weight range at 39-years-old, but he's been the faster puncher of the two and has done far more calculated work. Yet another good round for Jack who has to be ahead on the cards right now, but you cant discount what the judges think about the champion's constant pressure and work-rate.

21:34 ROUND 7: Badou Jack vs Ilunga Makabu - WBC cruiserweight title

Both men stood toe-to-toe in this round and traded a variety of jabs. The champion seems to be showing signs of fatigue and Jack snapped his head back with some electric jabs.

Makabu wants to apply the pressure to Jack, but the challenger isn't wilting. A good round for Jack.

— Boxing on BT Sport 🥊 (@BTSportBoxing) February 26, 2023 21:29 ROUND 6: Badou Jack vs Ilunga Makabu - WBC cruiserweight title

Makabu came out firing for the midway point of the fight. The champion chased Jack around the ring with a series of jabs and some sneaky left hooks. Single shots has been his preferred method of attack thus far.

Jack, on the other hand, has opted for quick combinations when Makabu moves in close. His work rate dipped in this round, but the cleaner work still belongs to the challenger. Still, being busy and aggressive will probably win Makabu the round, and he needed it.

21:25 ROUND 5: Badou Jack vs Ilunga Makabu - WBC cruiserweight title

A great follow-up round from Jack. After scoring the knockdown in the previous round, Makabu did his best to get a footing back in the fight, but Jack is so much sharper and crisper during the exchanges inside, clearly taking confidence from the knockdown.

Makabu has boxed with his mouth open most of the round, too. Is he feeling the pace?

21:25 Shane McGuigan says tonight's fight is a 'Jake Paul carnival'

If Tommy Fury wins every round, he will still loose on points! This is the Jake Paul carnival so he has to put him away in the second half of the fight. 3-4 rounds of keeping it long off the jab! Let’s hope he can do it 🙌🏼🙏🏼

— Shane McGuigan (@McGuigans_Gym) February 26, 2023 21:22 ROUND 4: Badou Jack vs Ilunga Makabu - WBC cruiserweight title

Just as Makabu was finding his groove and beginning to dominate proceedings, Jack found a cracking right hook on the champion's chin to put him down.

Makabu walked forward with a long hook and Jack slipped inside his guard to the right and secured himself a 10-8 round. It's likely all square on the scorecards.

21:20 KNOCK DOWN

Sensational right hand from Badou Jack stops the champion in his tracks and drops him to the canvas just as he was walking forward!

Makabu answers the count and is trying to see out the round

21:17 Round 3: Badou Jack vs Ilunga Makabu - WBC cruiserweight title

Makabu has stepped up the work rate now and a nice overhand right with a minute to go put Jack on the back foot. The champion has warmed up to the contest and this was his clearest round yet.

Jack's early jab work has taken a backseat to Makabu's searing body jabs and ripping hooks that follow. Jack needs to step up.

21:13 ROUND 2: Badou Jack vs Ilunga Makabu - WBC cruiserweight title

Jack is using his jab better than Makabu and is certainly carrying more spite. Makabu is trying to work out his range and is struggling with the Swede coming in and out of range.

Towards the end of the round, Makabu dialled it up and laid on an aggressive onslaught. While nothing clean appeared to land, a decent left hand kissed Jack's guard to get the crowd off their feet.

The finish might have been enough for Makabu to steal the round.

21:09 ROUND 1: Badou Jack vs Ilunga Makabu - WBC cruiserweight title

Makabu set up in his southpaw stance and tried to work Jack's body early, but Jack kept flashing shots upstairs that made the champion grimace.

Jack will probably win this round by virtue of being the busier fighter, but no emphatic shots have landed yet.

— TYSON FURY (@Tyson_Fury) February 26, 202320:35 RESULT: Ziyad Almaayouf def. Ronnald Martinez 38-37, 38-37, 38-37

The Saudi Arabian super-lightweight picks up his second win on home soil after also earning a victory when Anthony Joshua lost to Oleksanr Usyk last year with a hard-found in over the super-game Ronald Martinez.

Almaayouf, who works with Dillian Whyte's new trainer Buddy McGirt, moves to 2-0.

20:31 ROUND 4: Ziyad Almaayouf vs. Ronnald Martinez

Martinez showed tremendous guts, but it's clear he felt the pace of this frenetic shoot-out as the round wore on. He found himself against the ropes on numerous occasions eating right hands, but his chin held firm.

Incredible output from both men. A very exciting four-rounder all said and done. Almaayouf was knocked down in the first, but he seemed to win the three rounds that followed meaning we should see the hometown hero get his hand raised.

— Michael Benson (@MichaelBensonn) February 26, 2023 20:27 ROUND 3: Ziyad Almaayouf vs. Ronnald Martinez

One thing is for sure, Martinez has one hell of a chin! And he's incredibly dangerous on the inside with his right uppercut. Still, Almaayouf, on home soil, has found his range and timing and is doing the cleaner work.

The left jab has worked wonders for Almaayouf in dictating proceedings. Martinez is dangerous, but his square stance and flagrant guard makes him a hard read, as well. Another round for Almaayouf - all square.

— Boxing on BT Sport 🥊 (@BTSportBoxing) February 26, 2023 20:23 ROUND 2: Ziyad Almaayouf vs. Ronnald Martinez

This is only a four-round contest and after being knocked down in the first, Almaayouf found himself on the backfoot with ground to make up. He fought like it too; putting his punches together to close the distance and get in close with some whipping hooks, Martinez lost his momentum.

Both fighters are going all out, but this was Almaayouf's round.

20:20 ROUND 1: Ziyad Almaayouf vs. Ronnald Martinez

Martinez knocked down Almaayouf with a counter right with around 45 seconds left in the round, but the Saudi Arabian managed to answer the count to survive. When Martinez went in for the kill, he walked into a right hand himself! What an explosive round.

Almaayouf, in just his second professional fight, continued the trend of the night by starting fast and hurting his opponent. A chopping right hand connected early, but the 19-year-old Martinez managed to weather the storm well with snappy one-two combos.

The closing sequence showed this is anyone's fight.

Tommy Fury said: 'I am in boxing and have goals to be a world champion, so if I am to do that, I can’t be dodging people like Jake Paul. Believe you me the past two fights didn’t happen because of it being out of my hands.

'Third time’s a charm and we’re here. I’m in super fit condition and I am ready to go and put this all to bed.

'For the last two-and-a-half years all it has been is, ‘when are you fighting Jake Paul?’ and to even mention my name in the same sentence as that is disrespectful to me who has been boxing my whole life. I am going to clinically knock this guy out early.'
