Kylie Jenner is about to have the last laugh over haters, as she's set to become a girl-boss billionaire at the age of 21, all thanks to Kylie Cosmetics and the lip kit that started it all.

Now a booming business of eyeshadows, highlighters, eyeliners and more, Kylie Cosmetics is dominating the beauty industry, despite not being available via any other retailer.

As a longtime follower, first-time trier, I put a full face of products to the test to see what's worth shipping from the US...

KYLIE COSMETICS REVIEW:

Koko Kollection Face Palette, £31
As my second favourite Kardashian, I had to try out something from the Koko collection, in collaboration with Khloe. And I thought seeing as it contains a blush, bronzer and two highlighters, that it would make for a good investment pick. First thoughts sans packaging? That blush is PINK, the highlighters are drool-worthy and that bronzer is making me hungry for caramel.

I started by using the bronzer shade to contour, which had good pigment and a tiny shimmer to an otherwise satin finish for extra glow. It was a really good match for my complexion. Next was (gulp) the blush. I treaded lightly, but was pretty surprised to find it went on beautifully and wasn't garish at all. Extremely blendable and a good amount of flush that doesn't look fake. Who would've thought?

I used the lighter gold highlight to dust the tops of my cheekbones and a little went a really long way. The shimmer was punchy and powerful, so I thought I'd better save the gold for when I slap on some fake tan.

The Bronze Extended Palette Kyshadow, £35

This palette is just made to be photographed and I took my time staring at it before settling on three shades to create my look. An extremely difficult choice because the colours included are so wearable, and I'd say would look great on all skin tones. I selected (from top to bottom): Quartz, Citrine and Hematite.

And holy fricken frick, those swatch videos Kylie posts are not fabricated. Her eyeshadows are pigmented AF. Especially the matte shades. One dip with a brush and you've got enough to fill your eyeball, so have a clean blending brush at the ready. I started by applying Hematite in the crease, bringing it down to the waterline too. I then used Citrine, which is the most amazing shade of dusty terracotta, for the centre of the lid. And then finished with Quartz on the inner corner. I layered back over Quartz using the highlighter from the Koko Face Palette and we were on high-glow alert.

Black Kyliner, £7.70

I really like it when Kylie wears her Brown Kyliner, but at the risk of being top-to-toe beige, I decided to try out the Black.

One swipe and we were in business. It's obvious that Kylie prides herself on pigment. My only gripe? I don't think you can sharpen it, but I could be wrong.

Candy K Lip Kit, £22.50

Here she is, the OG. I chose Candy K because it was one of the original launches, and also one of the most popular shades. After swatching on my wrist first, I was immediately impressed with the precision of the lip liner and the rich, delectable liquid lip colour. It dried down while I was taking a pic and when I went to remove it with a face wipe, it was extremely stubborn. I'd heard about the lip kits' amazing staying power, but holy sh*t I had to scrub to get it off.

The lip liner is honestly one of the best I've used. No dragging of my delicate lips, it swipes on with absolute ease and this shade in particular really flatters my natural shape and colour.

Going in with the liquid lip next, I was not such a fan of the sweet, vanilla, marshmallow-like scent, but luckily it was fleeting. The applicator was soft, fit the lips well and it was easy to reach the inner corners.

Once the colour dried down, I was instantly obsessed with myself. Bible, this was the best lip colour I've ever had the pleasure of wearing. Never have I had a matte that looks so smooth, for hours on end. No cracks, no wear, just nothing but block, pillowy colour. And it was comfortable. Hats off to you Kylie, you really are the lip kit queen.

FINAL VERDICT:

Overall, Kylie ain't no fake. The girl knows how to make some pretty spectacular makeup products that I think are quite fairly priced for their quality. If I had to rank them, in terms of my personal favourites, the Lip Kit comes in first, eyeshadow palette second, face palette third and Kyliner fourth.
